FTP Combat
The combat training times in this guide are for the
gaining the levels in the following manner.
When you first start out with combat you should
first raise attack to 10 followed by strength and then defence last. After
you have flat 10's all the remaining levels should be done by raising
strength first by ten levels followed by attack and then defence last.
Defence is always last as it offers no improvement
to the XP rate, it merely lets you train on stronger monsters which is
pointless if you cannot hit hard enough.
For armour you should use full of the best metal
available to you with a kite along with boots, gloves, a cape and either the
amulet of strength (ruby) or the amulet of power (diamond).
For your weapon choice you should use a scimitar.
Don't forget to upgrade this to a better one as soon as it becomes
available.
The method for levelling is as follows:
0,0,0 - 10,10,10 Goblins
10,10,10 - 30,30,30 Dwarves at dwarven mines
30,30,30 - 50,50,50 Hobgoblins at the peninsular west of the crafting guild
50,50,50 - 99,99,99 Either hobgoblins or hill giants, whichever is quieter.
Food requirements:
0,0,0 - 10,10,10 = 1 inventory of food
10,10,10 - 20,20,20 = 22 lobsters
20,20,20 - 30,30,30 = 12 lobsters
30,30,30 - 40,40,40 = 70 lobsters
40,40,40 - 50,50,50 = 30 lobsters
50,50,50 - 99,99,99 = Very little food dwindling to none.
