Summoning

Written by Zim63drew.

Please note that you must first have first completed the Wolf Whistle quest before you can train summoning.

Summoning is a great way to train up to five combat related skills. These are att/str/def, hp, prayer, summoning and slayer. This can result in you getting 138 combat with 99 Slayer by only concentrating on training one skill. This can be an enormous time saver when training.

Many people have asked me what monsters they should train on to get charms of all colours easily and most importantly, FAST. Below is a list of the different charms, and what monsters drop them. The list below has been created using past experience of drops and from friends' advice.

Now then... If you have never trained summoning before, then you will have to firstly do the Wolf Whistle quest. After you have successfully completed this very easy quest, and want to quickly train your summoning, then follow the steps below.

1) This is a typical inventory at 4 summoning. Make sure you have money with you at all times just in case you need to buy more supplies from Pickupsitx when and as you need to.

2) Start at Falador and head south west until you come to an agility shortcut (level 5 agility required). After you have successfully climbed over the wall, head north into Taverly.

3) Once you have arrived at the obelisk click "Infuse-Pouch"

5) Now you have infused all your pouches, return the way you came and repeat until you either run out of money or charms.

Please note that making the pouches into scrolls can make your trips shorter and gain you more xp, even if it is only maybe 5 - 10xp per inventory, but this pays off in the long run, allowing you to gain faster xp, and shorter runs.

I hope that this guide has helped you with most of your summoning needs.
