Walkthrough:

1. Speak to Elena in her house. The mourners in west Ardougne have taken her distiller. Next go speak to Jericho in his house which is just south of the north Ardougne bank. After talking to him, search the cupboard for bird feed and take a pigeon cage from around the back of the house

2. Head to the wall that separates east from west Ardy. Go to the south end of it and speak to Omart. Now go north to the watchtower. Use the birdfeed on the spears surrounding the tower and then open up your pigeon cage. Run back to Omart and go over the wall into West Ardy.

3. Head north from your position and make your way to the house with the cauldron in the back garden. Pick up a rotten apple just to the west of the house, squeeze through the fence and use the rotten apple with the couldron. Try and get in through the door but you're told that the occupants are still waiting for a doctor.

4. Next go speak to Nurse Sarah in her house to the south-west of the church. Search the cupboard for the doctors gown. Put this on and go back to the mourners house to the north east. Enter the house through the front door. Go into the west room and up the stairs. Talk to one of the mourners then kill him to get the key to the cell. Go in and search the crates to get the distillator.

5. Take the distillator back to Elena in east Ardy. She now gives you 3 vials and a plague sample. If you teleport when carrying the plague sample, you will lose it. To get around this you should bank the sample at north Ardy bank then teleport to Falador and withdraw it again. If you cant do this teleport then the home teleport will be nearly as good. This done, take the items to the chemist in Rimmington.

6. Speak to the chemist but don't say anything about the plague. Say that you're Elena's friend, then say you need some touch paper for a guy called Guidor. If you say any of the other options you will have to go back to Elena for another sample and do it all over again.

7. Go outside the house and give the 3 men the following vials:

To Hops - Sulphuric Broline
To Chancy - Liquid honey
To Da Vinci - Ethenea

8. Head to the Dancing Donkey inn, to the south east of Varrock being careful not to teleport when carrying the plague sample. A guard searches you at the gate, after which you should enter the dancing donkey pub. Talk to the 3 people at the bar to pick up your 3 vials.

9. Now go to the house directly south east of the pub. Speak to Guidor's wife. She won't let you see Guidor so put the priest robes on (can be bought just north of the house in the fancy dress shop if you don't have them yet) then go speak to Guidor in the next room. Tell him you seek his assistance in stopping the plague then say you've been sent by Elena. You give him the items from Elena only for him to discover that there is no plague at all.

10. Report Back to Elena then go speak to the king Lathas upstairs in the castle south of Elena's house. He explains why he lied about the plague being a hoax and its quest complete!

Reward: 1250 thieving xp and access to the training area north west of Ardougne

QP reward: 3
