Cabin Fever

Talk to Bill Teach at the Inn in Port Phasmatys.
Items needed: None
Requirements: 49 agility, 45
crafting, 50 smithing and 40 ranged. Must have completed
Rum Deal and
Pirate's Treasure quests. |

Walkthrough: 1. Talk to Bill
Teach and tell him you want to be a pirate. After talking to him
go east and meet him on his ship. A cut scene follows.
2. After the cut scene, search the repair locker and take 2
ropes then search the gun locker and take a fuse. Now run south
and pick up the tinderbox then climb up the ladder onto the
deck.
3. Climb up the climbing net and use a rope with the hoisted
sail above you (on your side). You will swing across to the
other boat.
4. Use the fuse on the powder barrel next to the cannon and
light it with your tinderbox. Climb the climbing net and swing
back across to Bill Teach's boat using your second rope. Talk to
Bill again.
5. Go down the ships ladder and take a hammer, tacks, planks and
swamp paste from the repair locker. Next "fill" and "waterproof"
the 3 holes in the ships hull. Take 2 more ropes from the repair
locker and go talk to Bill on deck.
6. Swing back over to the enemy boat once more, go down the
ladder and plunder the containers at the north end until you
have 10 plunder (takes a couple of minutes to respawn).
7. Swing back to Bill's ship and stash the plunder in the chest
in the hold. Talk to Bill again.
8. Take a cannon barrel from the gun locker then go back on
deck. Remove the broken barrel and then put the new one in
place. Talk to Bill again.
9. Go into the ships hold and take a fuse, ramrod and cannon
canister from the gun locker. Go back on deck and take some
powder from the powder barrel next to the gun.
10.
a) Use the power with the cannon
b) Use the ramrod with the cannon
c) Use the cannister with the cannon
d) Use a fuse with the cannon
e) "fire" the cannon (when there are pirates directly opposite)
f) Use the ramrod with the cannon
g) "empty out" the cannon
If you miss the pirates then just repeat these steps again.
11. Talk to Bill again You must now fire cannon balls instead of
cannisters. Go and get 3 cannon balls and 3 fuses from the gun
locker. Go back on deck and take 3 lots of gunpowder. Now repeat
step 10 but this time use a cannon ball instead of a canister.
Do this 3 times to sink the enemy ship.
12. Bill talks to you once more. A cut scene follows and it's
quest complete!
Reward: 7000 smithing XP, 7000
crafting XP and 7000 agility XP. The little book o' piracy.
QP reward: 2
Note: When you finish the quest you
are on Mos Le'harmless which has a few building that you should
explore.
Note: Talk to Bill teach in the pub
and he'll give you 10,000 coins as your share of the loot.
