Walkthrough:

1. Talk to the high priest in the church in Sophanem, ask him about any news. Go up one of the ladders to discover the corpse isn't quite dead yet.

2. Talk to Maisa, asking her the available questions then go back down the ladder and talk to the high priest again.

3. Exit the city of Sophanem then head east then south-east until you get to a marshy area. "push" through the reeds and make your way north-west and "climb" the fallen pillar.

Head up the stairs, go west slightly and talk to Abigail. Ask her to test you

Answers are

a) 88 multiplied by 2.5
b) 418
c) 454
d) 113

4. Talk to Abigail again and she'll assign you to collect some bronze items. Exit the area the way you came in. Head to the agility pyramid and make your way to the top. Take the gold pyramid top.

5. Teleport out of the desert and collect the bronze items you need. Next take a bucket out of the bank and to south through the Shantay pass and take the magic carpet to Polnivneach

6. Head to the kebab shop and buy some special kebab sauce from Ali the Kebab seller.

Head slightly south-west of the kebab shop and use the sauce with a trough by the camels. Wait for the camels to drop some dung then use your bucket with the dung.

7. If you have 60 crafting, go out into the desert and use the dung with the bronze items then use the oxidised bronze items with the empty crate. If you don't have 60 crafting, put the bronze items in the crate and take them back to the archaeologists who will distress them for you.

8. Head back to the agility arena just north-east of Sophanem and use the oxidised plate skirts and pyramid top with Simon Templeton.

9. Head Back into Sophanem and prepare yourself for a long trip into pyramid plunder. Take lots of food, anti poison potions and a weapon. Your objective is to collect 10 gold artefacts from the urns in the pyramid. Avoid the chest and the sarcophagus and aim for the 2nd to last room you can reach, thieve everything in there then do the last room you can reach.

Don't use lockpicks as this only slows you down. When you have these, take them to Simon Templeton in UN NOTED form. After this, head back to a bank and prepare for a fight with food, decent armour and a superset. Take tele runes also as insurance.

10. Head back to Abigail and give her the receipt. Next kill some of the undead monsters and scabarites near the camp to get the 4 note pages.

"copy these into the research book and return to Abigail. She gives you a scabarite key.

11. Head north of the archaeologists and go down the stairs marked by a "!" on the minimap. Go south-west and talk to the clay golem. Next go north and take all the fuel out of the storage box.

Use logs with the furnace and talk to the golem again, tell him you're ready to operate the levers.

12. Now allocate the power to the 4 rooms. The most power should be placed in rooms that require your weakest skills. In general it is best to put the highest power in the scarab room and the 2nd highest in the agility walkway room.

13. Go west and pull the lever in the empty room. Go east again and solve the puzzle in the box room. It's a memory puzzle, you must turn over 3 of the same rune at the same time.

The easiest way to do this is writing down where the runes are. You can get extra tries by manipulating the cog, pinion and switch.

14. Prepare for a fight and kill the scarab in the room to the north. He uses magic and melee against you. Now go east and pull the lever in the agility room.

15. When you've done all 4 rooms you can proceed west. Go as far as you can and talk to the high priest in the most north-westerly room. Talk to the high priest of Scabaras and then attack him using a superset if you have one.

Use protect against magic or ranged as he uses both. When the fight is over, talk to him saying "by all the deities, what's going on here" and then "Sounds like the devourer dragged you into heresy".

16. Return to Sophanem and talk to the high priest. Quest complete!

Reward: Can craft an enchanted water tiara, 7k agility xp, 7k prayer xp, 7k strength xp and 7k thieving xp.

QP reward: 1

Note: Use water runes with a water tiara to charge it. The charged water tiara is used to protect against heat in the desert (when worn)

Note: A further 10k can be acquired by taking the completed research notes back to Simon Templeton at the agility pyrmamid. If you need more notes, go back to the cave with the clay golem and kill monsters/search chests.
