Eagle's Peak
Starting point:
Speak to Charlie the Zoo keeper in Ardougne Zoo.
Items needed: 50GP, swamp tar
and yellow dye or 2 onions and 5GP.

Walkthrough: 1. Go to Ardougne
Zoo and talk to Charlie. Ask him about a quest, and agree to
help him.
2. Head to Eagles Peak, west of the grand tree. Best way is to
take the glider from Al Kharid to the Grand Tree and walk the
rest of the way. Alternatively walk from Ardougne.
3. Go up the mountain up the path and then "inspect" the rocky
outcrop. Climb down the rocks near the outcrop to the small
camp.
4. Search the pile of books outside the tent to get the bird
book and then read the book to get a metal feather.
5. Climb back up the rocks and use the metal feather with the
rocky outcrop then enter the cave. Go east and pick up the
feathered journal. Read this, go south and talk to Nickolaus.
Say that the Ardougne zoo keeper sent you to find him, then
suggest that he gives you a ferret. Offer to help him. Take 6
giant feathers from the piles on the ground.
7. Head to Varrock and talk to the shop owner about bird
costumes.
Use a giant feather with the shop owner and he takes 10 along
with swamp tar, 50 gold pieces and yellow dye. If you don't have
the materials yet, get onions from the farm in North Lumbridge,
make the dye at Aggies house in Draynor and get swamp tar from
Lumbridge swamp.
8. The shop owner gives you 2 costumes (made of 2 parts). Put
one of these costumes on and return to Eagles Peak. Talk
("shout") to Nickolaus. Next follow the path around in an
anti-clockwise direction and try to go through the stone door.
You cant enter just yet.
9. From the stone door go north-east as far as you can and enter
the tunnel. Follow these steps to get the golden feather:
Pick up 6 odd bird seed from the birdseed holder
Go to A and pull lever
Go to B and use seed with feeder
Go to C and use seed with feeder
Go to D and pull lever
Go to E and use seed with feeder
Go to F and pull lever
Go to A and push lever up
Stay at A and use seed with feeder
Go to G and pull lever
Go to H and use seed with feeder
Return to E and use seed with feeder
Go to I and take the golden feather from stone pedestal
If you make a mistake any point you can leave the tunnel and use
the lever outside to re-set the puzzle.
10. Leave the golden feather cave and go as far south west as
you can. Enter the tunnel there (the one near the stone door).
Try to take from the pedestal. Use the winches in the corners of
that room to lower the net. Take the bronze feather.
11. Exit the bronze feather tunnel and enter the tunnel directly
north. Inspect the stone pedestal, follow the footprints and
then inspect the rocks they lead to. Keep searching more rocks
to extend the tracks until you need to "inspect opening". Kill
the level 13 kebbit and take the silver feather.
12. Exit the silver feather cave - you should now have the
bronze, silver and gold feathers. Go south and use the feathers
with the stone door. Head north and "walk past" the eagle. Talk
to Nickolaus and he takes the disguise.
13. Leave the mountain cave and climb down the rocks to the
camp. Talk to Nickolaus and ask about ferrets. Agree to be shown
how to catch one. A cut scene follows and you get a ferret.
Return to Charlie in Ardougne Zoo and its quest complete!
Reward: 2500 hunter XP, ability to
capture ferrets and access to fly the eagles from Eagle's Peak.
