Elemental Workshop I
Starting point:
Read a book in the building just south-west of Seers bank.
Items needed: 4 coal, hammer,
knife, soft leather, needle, pickaxe and thread.
Requirements: 20 mining, 20
smithing and 20 crafting. |

Walkthrough: 1. Enter the
building directly south-west of Seers village bank. Search the
bookcase in the north east corner to get a book called "The
Elemental Shield". Read this.
2. Use a knife with the book to get a battered key then go into
the smithy north of the house you found the book in and use the
key with the odd looking wall on the north side. Climb down the
staircase.
3. Go into the north room. Turn the east water controls then
turn the west water controls. Now pull the level and return to
the stairs.
4. Go into the west room and try to mine a rock. Kill the level
35 earth elemental that appears then pick up the elemental ore
he drops. Return to the stairs.
5. Go east and "fix" the bellows using your soft leather, needle
and thread. Now search all the crates in all the rooms until you
get a stone bowl.
6. Go into the south room and use the stone bowl with the lava
trough on the west side.
Now use the lava filled bowl with the furnace on the east side
of the room and it lights up. Head back to the room with the
bellows and pull the lever.
7. Head back to the south room and use the elemental ore and 4
coal with the furnace to get an elemental bar.
8. Go back into the central room and use the bar with an anvil
to get an elemental shield. Quest complete!
Reward: 5000 crafting XP, 5000
smithing XP and the ability to make elemental shields.
QP reward: 1
Note: The elemental shield has a +6
magic defence bonus
