Ernest the Chicken

Walkthrough: 1. To start, talk
to Veronica who is at the entrance to Draynor manor. Offer to
help her find Ernest and then continue north into the spooky
house...
2. On entering the door slams behind you. Go up the stair case
there, turn west then south and go up a spiral staircase. you
should find Professor Oddenstein up there. Talk to him and he
will tell you that he's turned Ernest into a chicken! To turn
him back you will need to find some of the missing parts to his
machine. These are a pressure gauge, and oil can and a rubber
tube. All these items are in the manor somewhere and its now
your job to try and find them.
3. Go back down the spiral staircase, walk past the main stairs
until you find the fish food. Pick this up. Go back to the main
stairs and go down to the ground floor. Go north then west into
the kitchen where you will find some poison. Pick this up and
use it with the fish food. Go to the east side of the house,
pick up a spade and go out through the door. Walk around to the
west side of the house to the fountain. Use the poisoned fish
food with this and search the fountain for the pressure gauge.
Just north of the fountain is a compost heap. Use the spade on
this to find a key.
4. For the rubber tube. Go back into the house via the front
door again. Just past the main stairs to the north is a door.
use the key you found in the compost heap on the door and enter.
On the floor is a rubber tube, take this and leave the room.
5. Getting the oil can is by far the most difficult part of the
quest. Go to the south west side of the manor. search the
bookcase and go down the ladders into the basement. To get the
oil can you need to pull a set of levers in this way...
Pull levers A and B. Enter the northeast door.
Pull lever D. Enter the southwest door, enter the south door.
Pull levers A and B. Enter the northwest door, enter the west
door, enter the north door
Pull levers F and E. Enter the east door, enter the east door.
Pull lever C. Enter the northwest door, enter the west door.
Pull lever E. Enter the east door, enter the south door, enter
the south door.
Enter the west door and pick up the oil can.
6. Exit the basement and go back to the professor. Give him the
items and it's quest complete!
