Fishing Contest
Starting point:
Speak to the dwarves at the tunnel entrances on either side
of White Wolf Mountain.
Items needed: Fishing bait,
fishing rod, garlic, and a
spade
Requirements: Level 10 fishing |

Walkthrough: 1. Talk to a
dwarf at one of the tunnel entrances and ask to use the stairs.
Ask why you cant use them, then say if you were friends you
wouldn't mind him using them. Ask him to be your friend and then
ask how you can earn his trust. He gives you a pass to the
fishing contest.
2. Go west to Mcgrubors woods and enter round the back by
squeezing through the loose railing. Check the vine in there and
take at least 3 red vine worms. Leave the woods through the
loose railing
3. Now head south to Hemenster (just west of the ranging guild
and north of the fishing guild). Go through the gate after
giving Boris your pass then pay Bonzo 5gp to enter the
competition.
4. Talk to the sinister stranger. Ask him if he's a vampire and
use your garlic on him. Next use the garlic with the pipes just
to the north of him to take his spot. Fish at the spot until you
have 3 giant carp. This wins you the competition. Take the
trophy back to the dwarf at the tunnel entrance and its quest
complete.
Reward: 2437 fishing xp and access to the tunnel shortcut.
QP reward: 1 Quest
