Legends Quest
Starting point:
Talk to Radimus Erkle in the Legends Guild, north-east of
Ardougne.
Items needed: Charcoals, 2 gold
bars, hammer, lockpick, machete, 4 papyrus, pickaxe, rope, 2
uncharged orbs, woodcutting axe, runes to cast 2 charge orb
spells, soul rune, mind rune, earth rune, 2 law runes,
emerald, diamond, jade, opal, red topaz, ruby, sapphire, adrigal, snakeweed and a vial of water.
Recommended items: Armour,
food, tele runes, prayer pots, and a weapon.
Requirements: 56 magic, 52
mining, 50 agility, 50 smithing, 50 strength, 50 thieving,
50 woodcutting 45 herblore and 42 prayer. Must have at least
107 Quest points and have completed
Heroes Quest,
Family Crest Quest,
Shilo Village Quest,
Underground Pass Quest,
and Waterfall Quest. |

Walkthrough: 1. Head to the
legends guild north-east of Ardougne. Talk to a guard outside
and say "what is this place" then ask about the quest. Go up the
path and talk to Radimus. He gives you some notes - keep these
on you. Search the cupboard for a machete and take 4 papyrus
from the table.


2. Take the boat from Ardougne to Karamja then head south
towards Shilo village, stopping at the shop on the way to buy 4
charcoal (if needed). Go just south of Shilo and talk to a
jungle forester who will talk about a special item. Hack your
way south through the trees and bushes to enter the Kharazi
jungle.

3. You must map the west, central and east areas of the jungle.
Stand in these areas and "complete" Radimus notes to get the 3
sketches.

When finished, use the complete notes with any jungle forester
to get the bull roarer - keep this on you.
4. Go back into the jungle and swing the Bull roarer. Gujuo
appears. Talk to him and offer to help. Now go west to the cave
entrance and "search" rocks to enter.

5. Go south-east in the cave, "investigate" the flames and
Ungadulu talks to you. Ask about the flames and how to
extinguish them.

6. Exit the cave and call Gujuo with the bull roarer. Talk about
putting out the flames then about a vessel to carry the water.
Gujou gives you a sketch - look at it then drop it.
7. Go to any anvil and make a gold bowl using 2 gold bars (more
may be required if you fail).
8. Go to Shilo village bank and make sure you have the following
with you:
The gold bowl, woodcutting axe, machete, bull roarer, radimus
notes, SMELL runes (1 soul, 1 mind, 1 earth and 2 laws), 2
lockpicks, a pickaxe, the 7 gems listed above, armour, food and
a weapon.
9. Head back into the Kharazi jungle and swing the bull roarer.
Get Gujuo to bless it then go to the pool near the centre of the
jungle. Use a machete with the tall reeds to get a hallow reed
then use the hallow reed witht he pool to fill the bowl.

10. Head east and enter the cave once more. Use the bowl of
water on the flames and search the desk to get the Shamans Tome.
Read this, and exit the flame octagon. Go north and "search" the
empty bookcase to go through the crevice.

11. Follow the tunnel and use a lockpick on the door to pass.
Next "smash" the 3 boulders using a pickaxe and go through the
next door using strength. Continue through the tunnel and jump
over the jagged wall.
12. "search" the marked wall then use your 5 runes with it to
spell the word SMELL (soul, mind, earth, law, law).

This will take you into the next room with pools. Use your 7
gems with the 7 carved rocks in the pools. When done you are
thrown across the room. After watching a display of magic the
book of binding appears. Pick this up.

Note: You do not need to make the vials to finish this quest. In
fact it is advisable not to make them at all.
13. Return to Shilo Village bank and Prepare for a fight against
a level 187 Demon who drains prayer fast (armour, weapon, food
and prayer pots).
14. Go back to Ungadulu in the fire circle in the cave and use
the book of binding on him. A black demon appears. Kill him then
talk to Ungadulu to get some Yommi Tree seeds.

15. Exit the cave and go to a Yommi tree spot marked on the map.
Use you bowl of water with the yommi tree seeds then go to the
pool. Try to get some more water with a reed like before and the
water turns muddy.
16. Swing the bull roarer and talk to Gujuo about the source of
the water, then talk about the bravery potion. If you don't have
Adrigal and snake weed at this point, here is where to find
them:

Use the Adrigal and snake weed with a vial of water to make a
bravery potion.
17. Return to Shilo bank and take the following with you: The
bravery potion, 2 lockpicks, pickaxe, uncharged orb, runes to
charge an orb, rope, machete, woodcutting axe, radimus notes,
armour, weapon, food and prayer pots.
18. Head back to the cave and return to the room where you used
the gems with the pools. Go north and use a charge orb spell
with the ancient gate.

19. In the room with red barrels, use your rope with the winch
then drink your bravery potion. Climb down the rope (if the rope
dissappears then "search" the winch and it will appear again).
20. Try to take the blue hat and a Viyeldi talk to you. Now go
down the cliff, climbing over the rocks as you go. Once you are
down, kill San Tojalon (106), Irvig Senay (100) and Ranalph
Devere (92) to get 3 crystal hunks (all 3 use melee).
21. Head north-east and use the 3 crystal chunks with the
furnace to get a heart crystal.

Now go to the centre of the room and use the heart crystal with
the mossy rock to make it glow. Go south-east and use the heart
crystal with the recess to go through the shimmering door.


22. Put on protect from melee and run west past the demons. Push
the first boulder and ghost Echned zekin appears. Agree to help
him and he gives you a dark dagger.

You now have a choice of 2 paths to take.
23.
a) SHORT BUT TOUGHER: Go back to where you saw the blue mage
hat. Equip the dark dagger, touch the blue hat and attack
Viyeldi. Now go back to Echned zekin by the boulder.
b) LONGER BUT EASIER: Head back to Ugandulu in the fire ring
(teleporting to Ardy and returning is faster and you can stock
up at the same time also bring another uncharged orb runes for a
charge orb spell so you can go through the ancient door again).
Ugandulu gives you a holy force spell. Go back to where echned
Zekin was, push the boulder and use the holy force spell on him.
24. The demon Nezichened (187) appears. He drains your prayer so
drink pots and use protect from melee to defeat him. (you dont'
need to get water from here so just tele out when you've killed
the demon).

25. Head back to the bank and get your gold bowl, machete,
woodcutting axe and Yommi tree seeds. Go back to the jungle and
fill the bowl at the pool which is no longer muddy. Now plant
the Yommi seeds at a Yommi tree patch. When it's grown, use a
woodcutting axe on it 3 times to get a totem pole. (you can
speed up the growing of the tree with more water from the pool).

26. Go just east of the pool and try to use your totem with the
one there. Nezichened appears again who you must defeat again.
Once defeated, use your totem with with one standing there again
and Gujuo appears. He gives you a gilded Totem.
27. Talk to Radimus Erkle at the legends guild. Enter the main
building talk to Radimus about training, put xp on skills 4
times, talk to him again and it's quest complete!

Reward: Access to the Legends
Guild, 7,650 XP on 4 skills of your choice (you can put this all
on one skill if you wish), ability to wear the legends cape and
dragon square shield.
