Lunar Diplomacy
Starting point:
Talk to Lokar Searunner on the jetty west of Relekka.
Items needed: Armour, 400
coins, Dramen Staff, earth fire air and water talismans or
tiaras (tally's not needed if you can use the abyss), food,
guam leaf, hammer, marrentil, pestle and mortar, needle &
thread, pickaxe, spade, teleport runes and a tinderbox
Requirements: 65 magic, 40
defence, 5 herblore, 60 mining, 61 crafting, 55 woodcutting
and 49 firemaking. Must also have completed
Fremennik Trials,
Lost City,
Shilo Village and
Rune Mysteries quests. |

Walkthrough: 1. Talk to Lokar
Searunner on the jetty west of Relekka. After speaking to him
for a while, agree to help him.

2. Go east of Lokar into the long hall. Talk to Brundt the
Chieftain about the seal of passage. Go back to Lokar and set
sail for the pirates cove.
3. On arrival at the cove, go up the ladder and then up another
one onto the ship. Talk to Captain Bentley and say "Can we sail
to Lunar Isle now?" You set sail but go round in a circle.

4. Talk to the captain again, then go through the door to the
south of him and down the ladder. Go south a bit further and
talk to birds-eye Jack.
5. Go back to the captain and say "perhaps it's the navigators
fault. Now go and talk to birds-eye Jack again.
6. Go back on deck and towards the front of the ship you'll find
Eagle-eye Shultz.

Talk to him then talk to the captain again.
7. Go down 2 sets of ladders to the bottom of the ship and talk
to Beefy Burns in the ships galley (kitchen). When you're done,
head back on deck and then go up a ladder. Talk to Lecherous Lee
near the cannons.
8. Go back down the ladder onto the main deck and talk to first
mate Davey-Boy. After that go back up a ladder and talk to the
cabin boy. Keep talking to the cabin boy until he gives you a
lens and bullseye lantern. Use one with the other to make an
emerald lantern then light it with your tinderbox.

9. You must now look for the 5 symbols on the ship using the
green lens. When found you must rub them out.

a) Use the lantern with the south east cannon near the cabin
boy.
b). Go back onto the main deck. Go to room at the rear of boat
and use your lantern with the chart on the north wall.
c). Go down 2 flights of stairs and use the lantern with the
chest near the front of the ship.
d) Go south of the chest and use the lantern with the support
nearest the back of the ship.
e) Go south of the support and use the lantern with the tall
crate near Beefy Burns.
10. After you've removed all the symbols, go and talk to the
captain who takes you to Moonclan Island. When you arrive go
down 2 ladders then go north up the ramp into the town. A cut
scene follows.
11. Put on your seal of passage
12. Head to the south east part of the island and talk to
Oneiromancer.

Next go back into town and go north of the bank to find a large
house walking around with chicken legs - enter this house and
talk to Baba Yaga.

13. Say that Oneiromancer sent you and Baba gives you a special
vial. Fill this with water in the building west of the bank and
add the guam leaf and Marrentil.
14. Equip your armour and weapon. Now go slightly north east of
the bank and kill level 111 Suquh until you get a Suquh tooth
drop.

Use the tooth with your pestle and mortar then use the ground
tooth with the vial to make a waking sleep vial.
15. When you've finished making the potion, go back to the
oneiromancer to the south east. She takes the Vial.
16. You must now use your Dramen staff on the 4 elemental rune
crafting alters. The quickest way to do this is by using the
abyss but if you cant do this then you will need a talisman or
tiara for each elemental alter. Visit the alters in the
following order:

a) air - south of Falador
b) fire - Just north of the dualling ring tele spot
c) water - south east of Draynor in Lumbridge swamp
d) earth - north east of Varrock
17. When you have made the Lunar Staff, go back to the Lunar
Isle via Lokar Searunner in Relekka and Captain Bentley on the
ship. When you arrive, go south-east and talk to Oneiromancer
again and she takes the staff for safe keeping.
18 Talk to Oneiromancer about the rest of the Lunar suit. Next
go north-west to the bank and equip armour, weapons and food.
19. Go North-east of the bank and kill 4 Suqah to get 4 hides.
Take these to the clothes shop south of the bank and get them
tanned by talking to Rimmae Sirsalis - ask about the ceremonial
clothes (you'll need to do this twice). After she's tanned them
for 400gp, use a needle and thread on them to make the torso,
trousers, gloves and boots.
20. Talk to Meteora located in the south of the town. Head out
of the town to the north east and kill Sukah monsters until one
drops a "special tiara". Take this to Meteora and she gives you
the lunar one.

21. Head north-east of the bank, past the Suqah and enter the
cave. Mine one of the stalagmites to get a lunar ore.

Smelt this into a bar and then use it on an anvil to make the
lunar helm. Return to Lunar Isle.
22. Talk to Selene who's hovering outside the bank. Tell her
you're looking for a ring. Take a spade out of the bank and go
to the south west part of the island. Stand on top of the blue
flowers and dig to get the lunar ring.

23. Talk to Pauline Polaris who is located in the north west of
the town.

Respond to her by saying "Pauline" and then "jane blud hagic
maid". She then gives you the cape.
24. Take all the lunar items you have made and take them to the
oneiromancer to the south east. She takes them all off you then
gives them back along with some kindling and the waking sleep
vial. Equip the lunar armour and take some food and a
woodcutting axe out of your bank.
25. Head to the ceremonial brazier in the large building west of
the bank.

Use the vial with the kindling, use tinderbox with the brazier
then use the soaked kindling with the lit brazier. You are
teleported to the land of dreams.

26. Talk to the Ethereal man to find out you must pass 6 tests.
These can be done in any order. After completing each task you
need to talk to the ethereal man in the centre to continue. If
you log out or use the lecturn in the middle to "read my life"
during this then you will have to start over which means getting
another vial potion and more kindling.
a) The race - Jump over hurdles and complete as quickly as
possible.
b) Numbers - you must work out the next two numbers in a
sequence. When you have done 5 you can proceed onto the next
area. If you get stuck then just have a guess. All you need is a
total of 5 correct sequences but they don't have to be all in a
row.

c) Emotes - Copy the emotes done by the Ethereal Man.

d) Dice - Roll the dice so the values facing up add up to the
number called out. Each dice can only show 2 values so its not
all that random really.

e) Puff Pathway - find the way cross the clouds. Different for
each player. One way to do this is to make a note of where the
route is as you go along. Its all trial and error.

f) Dream Trees - Cut dream logs and put them in the pile in the
centre. You will win the race by making fewer trips than the
Ethereal man (by filling up your inventory with logs before
depositing).

27. Talk to the Ethereal man again when you've completed all
tasks and tell him you're ready. You now fight a level 79 called
"me". Some food may be required. After you win, talk to the
Ethereal man again.
28. Now read the book on the lectern in the middle of the dream
world to return to reality. Talk to Oneiromancer again and its
quest complete!

Reward: 5000 magic XP, 5000
runecrafting XP, access to the Lunar Spell Book and 50 Astral
runes.

Note: You can use the astral rune
alter to create your own astral runes.
Note: "pray" at the astral rune
alter to change between Lunar and normal Magics.
Note: Lunar magics are very useful
when doing slayer as you can use them to talk to the slayer
master. They also speed up runecrafting at the new Ourania
alter.
Note: If your Lunar outfit is
taking up too much bank space then you can always store it in
your player owned house. Put it in a magic wardrobe.
Note: The Lunar staff can be used
like a Dramen one to enter Zanaris.
