Rum Deal
Starting point:
Talk to Pirate Pete on the jetty north east of the
ectofuntus.
Items needed: Slayer Gloves,
bucket, ectophial, rake, and a seed dibber.
Requirements: 40 farming, 50
fishing, 47 prayer, 42 crafting and 42 slayer. Must have
completed Zogre Flesh Eaters
and be able to defeat a level 150 monster. |

Walkthrough:
1. Talk to Pirate Pete and agree to help him. A cut scene
follows and you talk to Captain Braindeath on Braindeath Island
who gives you a blindweed seed.
2. Go south of Captain Braindeath and down the stairs. Run south
past the zombies to the blindweed patch.
Use a rake with the patch and then use the seed with the patch.
Wait a few minutes for it to grow.
3. Pick the Blindweed and go back to Captain Braindeath. Go
south east of the Captain and up the ladder. Use the Blindweed
with the hopper and return to the Captain.
4. Exit the building again and go west. Open the gate by 50%
Luke and head north up the mountain. At the top use your bucket
with the pool.
Return to the Captain and use the bucket of stagnant water with
him.
5. Go upstairs and use the bucket of stagnant water with the
hopper. Speak to the Captain again he gives you a fishbowl and
net.
6. Go to the fishing spots near the blindweed patch.
Fish there until you have 5 sluglings. Go back in the building
and go upstairs. Put the sluglings in the pressure barrel and
pull the pressure lever.
7. Go back to the captain who gives you a wrench. Head to the
room just south west of the Captain and talk to Davey who will
bless the wrench.
8. Go east of Davey and use the wrench with the controls. An
evil spirit will appear (level 150). Defeat him using protect
against melee.
9. Put on your slayer gloves and go downstairs into the
basement. Kill fever spiders until you get a fever spider body.
Take this up to the top floor and put it in the hopper.
10. Go back to the captain then go to the south end of the
brewing machine. "turn" the output tap.
Now exit the building to the south and talk to Captain Donnie to
give him the rum.
11. Return to Captain Braindeath and its quest complete!
Reward: Holy wrench, 7000 prayer
XP, 7000 fishing XP and 7000 farming XP.
QP reward: 2
Holy Wrench: If in your inventory,
prayer pots will restore 1 more point than usual.
