Temple of Ikov
Starting point:
Speak to Lucien at the Flying Horse Inn at Ardougne.
Items needed: Candle, knife, 20
limwurt roots, tinderbox and a yew or magic bow.
Recommended items: Food, ranger
armour, Ardougne teleport runes.
Requirements: 42 thieving and 40 ranged. |

Walkthrough:
1. Enter the Flying Horse inn at Ardougne and talk to Lucien.
Accept his mission and then put on the pendant he gives you.
2. Go to the bank and bank all your items. Now take out the
pendant that Lucien just gave you (KEEP THIS ON INSIDE THE
TEMPLE), also take out a lit candle, tinderbox and a knife.
3. Head north of Ardougne to the entrance of the Temple of Ikov.
This is located west of the Sorcerer's Tower and south-east of
the ranging guild.
4. Go down the ladder and at the crossroad head west. Climb down
the stairs and at the east end of the room use a knife on the
web. Take the boots of lightness and put them on.
5. Head back to the crossroad and go north through the gate. Now
go west across the bridge (your weight must be no more than
0KG), and go through the door. Go to the south end of the room
and pick up the lever.
6. Head back to where you entered the cave and use the lever
with the bracket on the wall. Pull the lever and head back to
Ardougne bank.
7. At the bank take out ranger armour, food, prayer pot and a
yew or magic bow. Equip the armour and weapon. Head back to the
Temple entrance.
8. At the crossroad go south through the gate and follow the
tunnel to the icy area.
Keep searching all the crates until you have around 40 ice
arrows. Leave the area and go back to the crossroad. (go back to
the bank for more food and re-stock if you need to, then come
back to the crossroad)
9. Equip the ice arrows then head north through the gate at the
crossroad. Keep going north till you find a lever. Search it for
traps and then pull it. Next head west and then north through a
door.
10. Try and go north through the next door and Fire Warrior of
Lesarkus (level 84 appears).
Kill him using the ice arrows and protect against mage if
needed, then go back to Ardougne bank.
11. Make sure you take with you 20 limpwurt roots, armour, food
and a weapon. Go back to the temple and head north through the
gate at the crossroads.
12. Head back to where you defeated the fire warrior and go
north through another door. Then go east and talk to Winelda.
You give her the 20 limpwurt roots and she transports you across
the lava.
13. Follow the cave north, then west then south past the lesser
demons. Pick up the shiny key. Head north, back past the lesser
demons and "push" the wall to enter a room.
14. You must now decide whether to side with Lucien or the
Guardians
GUARDIANS:
Remove the pendant of Lucien and talk to a guardian.
Say "I seek the staff of Armadyl". Next say "Lucien will give me
a grand reward for it" then say "you're right, it's time for my
yearly bath". The guardian uses holy water on you then say "OK
I'll help" The guardian gives you an Armadyl Pendant.
Exit the guardian room, go east and up the ladder. Go north
through the door then make your way to Lucien's house north of
Varrock.
Wear the Armadyl pendant and kill Lucien and its quest complete!
LUCIEN:
Try to take the staff in the north-west corner. Defeat a
guardian then take the staff. Exit the room, go east and up the
ladder. Go north through the door and make your way to Luciens's
house north of Varrock. Talk to him and its quest complete!
Reward: 10,500 ranged XP and 8,000
fletching XP
QP reward: 1
Note: The boots of lightness
respawn at the spot you found them so if you lose them or want
more than one pair then its easy to get some more.
