The Fremennik Isles
Starting point:
Talk to Mord Gunnars on Rellekka's northern docks.
Items needed: Armour, bronze
nail, food, hammer, knife, needle & thread, pickaxe, around
3 prayer pots, raw tuna, 9 ropes, weapon and a woodcutting
axe.
Recommended items: Teleport runes
and a superset.
Requirements: 20 construction,
46 crafting, 56 woodcutting, and 40 agility. Must have
completed the Fremennik
Trials quest and must be able to defeat a level 122
troll. |

Walkthrough:
1. Talk to Mord Gunnars on the dock just north of Rellekka. Ask
to be ferried to Jatizso. On your arrival, enter the town then
talk to the king in the building with the chequered floor.
2. Use a raw tuna with Hrafn the cat and talk to the king again.
You are given a mining task (either mithril or coal depending on
your minihng level). Get the ores from your bank or mine them
yourself.
3. Go back to the king and talk to Thorkel Silkbeared to give
him the ores. He gives you 5000 coins in reward. Now open the
chest behind the throne and take the jesters hat, top, tights
and boots.
Put on the costume and go south back to the boat.
4. Take the ferry back to Rellekka then talk to Maria to take
the ferry to Neitiznot. Go east into the town and head to the
north part to find Slug Hemligssen (he's walking about dressed
as a jester).
Say the password "free stuff please".
5. Make sure you are wearing all 4 pieces of the jester costume
and have no weapons in your hands.
6. Enter the building just south of the bank and talk to Mawnis
Burowgar. You must perform the emotes he calls out to you.
7. Go back to Slug Hemligssen. Tell him you have the information
and answer the questions with the following answers:
a) They will be ready in two days
b) Seventeen militia have been trained
c) There are two bridges to repair
Slug gives you 2500 coins.
8. Remove the jesters outfit and go back to Mawnis Burowgar (the
person you did the performance in front of). Take 8 ropes out of
your bank and show them to Mawnis and you are rewarded with 1k
coins.
9. Go just outside the town to the west and cut 9 arctic pine
logs then use these on a tree stump in the town to make 8 arctic
pine split logs.
Go back to Marnis and you are rewarded with 1.5K coins.
10. Equip your armour then take 8 ropes, 8 split pine logs,
hatchet, knife and food and go west of of the village. Now head
north and go across a rope bridge. Continue north to the next
bridge and repair it by right clicking on the end and clicking
repair.
Now go east and do the same for the other broken bridge
(parallel to the first). Be very careful of the trolls - this is
a multi combat area. If in doubt, go back to the bank and get
food.
11. After repairing the bridges, go back and talk to Mawnis in
the village - you receive 1.5k coins. Talk to Mawnis some more.
12. Exit the village and take the ferry back to Rellekka and
then the ferry to Jatizso. Talk to king Sorvott and Thorkel
gives you an empty money bag. You must now collect window tax
from these people:
a) Vanligga in the house just north of the king. Collect 5000.
b) Flossi in the general shop. Collect 5000.
c) Skuli in the north smithy. Collect 6000
d) Hring in the south smithy. Collect 8000
13. Go back to the king's room and talk to Thorkel. You must now
collect 1K Beard tax from the following people:
a) Flosi in the general shop
b) Keepa in the general shop
c) Skuli in the north smithy
d) Raum in the south smithy
e) Hring in the south smithy
Go back and talk to Thorkel. There is now enough money in the
bag.
14. Head back to the boat. Return to Rellekka then go to
Neitiznot once more. When you get there enter the town and talk
to Slug Hemligssen the spymaster (the one in the jester outfit).
Un-equip any weapon in your hands and put back on the jester
outfit.
15. Go to the building south of the bank and entertain Mawnis
once more.
Perform the emotes he calls out. Go back to Slug the spymaster
and give him these answers:
a) They are in a secluded bay, near Etcetaria
b) They will be given some potions
c) I have been helping Neitiznot
The spymaster gives you 2500 coins
16. Remove the jester outfit and report back to King Sorvott on
Jatizso. Sorvott gives you a royal decree. Go back again to
Mawnis on Neitiznot.
17. Talk to Mawnis and he takes the royal decree. Finish talking
to them and go just outside the town and kill 3 Yaks. Take the 3
Yak hides to Thakkrad Sigmundson (in the same building as Mawnis)
and he will cure them for you. Use a needle and thread on these
to make Yak-hide top and legs.
18. Talk to Mawnis again. To make the shield you will need 2
arctic pine logs, a rope, a bronze nail and a hammer. Get these
and use them on a tree stump in the centre of town to make the
Fremennik round shield. Now report back to Mawnis.
19. Prepare yourself for a fight, one in which you must fight 10
trolls in a row followed by a Troll King who can use mage, range
and melee attacks. Tele runes, armour, weapons (preferably a
poisoned dragon dagger and dragon halberd), food, prayer pots
and a superset are a must. When you're ready, follow this route
to the cave entrance using protect from range.
20. Enter the cave and a cut scene follows. Kill 10 trolls.
You can request supplies from Bork Sigmundson (at the north end
of the cave) if you need prayer pots or food.
Make sure you pick up these extra supplies before attacking the
king troll.
21. When you've killed 10 trolls, go south across the bridge and
kill the king troll. Best way is with protect from range, poison
dagger and a Dragon Halberd.
When defeated, decapitate him and TELEPORT OUT as if you die now
and lose the head you will have to do it all over again.
22. Take the head to Mawnis Burogar on Neitiznot and it's quest
complete!
Reward: Helm of Neitiznot, access
to runite rock, 5k crafting XP, 10k woodcutting XP, 5k
construction XP and 10k XP in 2 combat skills (or 20k on one).
QP reward: 1
Note: The helm of Neitiznot is a
better helm than the beserker or warrior helm.
Note: You can now access a runite
rock via the northeast bridge.
Note: The furnace at Neitiznot is
the fastest place in the game to do your smelting.
