The Feud
Starting point:
Talk to Ali Morrisane
Items needed: A bucket, 2k
coins, desert robes, gloves, Shantay pass, waterskins and a
weapon.
Requirements: Level 30 thieving
and must be able to kill a level 75 warrior. |

Walkthrough: 1. Talk to Ali
Morrisane by his market stall just east of the glider in Al
Kharid. Ask him why he is still selling goods from a market
stall. Offer to get him some help.
2. Trade with Ali and buy a fake beard and a Karidian Head
piece. Use these together to make a desert disguise. Put this
on.
3. Go south through the Shantay pass and take the magic carpet
to Pollnivneach. On arrival, go south into the pub and buy 3
beers from the barman. Talk to Drunken ali (sitting down) and
use the 3 beers on him to get him talking.
4. Go west of the pub and talk to a Menaphite thug (dressed in
purple and yellow. Then head to the north part of town and talk
to a bandit (dressed in white).
5. Head to the camel shop and talk to the shop owner.
Ask about the 2 camels (which aren't for sale but he's got 2
more) then ask about the price. Offer him 500gp for the pair and
you get 2 receipts.
6. Go north and give a receipt to a bandit and then head south
and give the other one to a menaphite thug.
7. Go to the tent just south-west of the camel shop and talk to
Ali the Operator.
Agree to help him and go to the town centre. You must make 3
successful pickpockets.
8. Pickpocket a level 3 villager then talk to the street urchin.
Pay him 10gp and he'll distract a second villager - this
villager is marked by a flashing yellow arrow over his head
(also flashes on the mini map). Pickpocket this villager and
head back to Ali the Operator.
9. Ask Ali the Operator for advice and he gives you an oak black
jack. Wield this black jack and "knock out" a villager so you
can pickpocket him easily.
10. Talk to Ali the Operator again and he gives you a key. Make
sure you're wearing a desert disguise and gloves then go to the
large house on the east side of Pollnivneach. "hide" behind the
large cactus at the front then enter the house using the key. Go
north and up the stairs. In the bedroom, search the landscape
painting next to the bed and then open the safe using
combination 1-1-2-3-5-8.
11. Take the jewel back to Ali the operator. Now you must find a
traitor.
12. Talk to a Menaphite Thug then talk to Ali the Operator
again. Now go up the hill on the west side of town and talk to
Ali the Hag.
13. Go south to the kebab shop and ask about a bottle of special
kebab sauce. Next go just south west to the camel shop and use
the bottle of sauce with the camel trough out the back. Wait a
minute and use a bucket with some dung the camels drop.
14. Now go to the snake charmer who is just behind the pub.
Use some coins with his money pot and the charmer gives you a
snake charming flute and basket. Use the flute with one of the
snakes near Ali the operator.
15. Head back to Ali the Hag and talk to her twice to give her
the ingredients. She gives you "Hag's poison". Go to the bar and
use the poison with the beer on the table.
16. Talk to Ali the Operator and then the Menaphite leader (the
one wielding a staff). Kill the level 75 that appears.
17. Talk to a level 3 villager then talk to the bandit leader to
the north west of town, kill the level 70 that appears then talk
to a level 3 villager again. Talk to Ali the Mayor in the centre
of town.
18. Go back to Ali Morrisane in Al Karid and its quest complete!
Reward: 15,000 thieving XP,
Blackjack and a desert disguise.
