The Great Brain Robbery
Starting point:
Talk to Brother Tranquility in Mos Le'Harmless.
Items needed: Diving helmet/fishbowl
and apparatus,
10 furs (bear or wolf), hammer, blessed holy symbol, 60
nails, 20 planks and the ring of Charos.
Recommended items: Amulet of
glory and Ectophial
Requirements: 16 crafting, 30
construction and 50 prayer. Must have completed
Creature of
Frankenstrain, the Pirate Pete part of
Recipe For Disaster,
Rum Deal and
Cabin Fever Quests. You must
also be able to defeat a level 190 monster and have access
to a player-owned-house workshop. |

Walkthrough: 1. Take Bill
Teach's boat from Port Phasmatys to Moss Le'Harmless. When you
arrive, go to the bank and take out your fishbowl helmet, diving
apparatus, 10 nails, hammer and 4 planks.
2. Go south of the bank and talk to Brother Tranquility.
Agree to tackle the undead pirates and you are teleported to a
mill on Harmony Island, just south-east of Moss Le'Harmless. You
can use Brother Tranquility to teleport between the 2 islands at
any time which is useful as there is a bank on Moss Le'Harmless.
3. Exit the mill and go north.
"pull" the statue of Saradomin then climb down it. Equip your
fishbowl helmet and diving apparatus then go down the stairs
into the water. Keep going west and "repair" the stairs at the
other end. Climb up these stairs then up the ladder into a small
room.
4. "peer" through the peephole and listen to the conversation
then go back to Brother Tranquility in the mill.
5. Head to the Monastary just west of Edgeville and search the
bookcase in the south-west corner for the prayer book.
Read this and return to Moss Le'Harmless.
6. Make sure you have a blessed holy symbol then talk to Brother
Tranquility who takes you to Harmony. Put on the holy symbol and
right click the prayer book. Click on "recite prayer" to clear
the gas (keep the fishbowl helmet on if you go outside from now
on).
7. Talk to Brother Tranquility again then go to Fenkenstrain's
castle in Morytania (ectophial very useful here). Go up 2 floors
in the castle and talk to Dr Fenkenstrain.
8. Exit the castle and go west to Canafis. Equip the ring of
Charos and talk to Rufus in the food shop.
Talk about the meat shipment and he gives you 6 crate parts and
a wolf whistle. A cut scene follows.
9. Head to the bank and take out 10 furs and 10 planks. Go to
the workshop in any player owned house and craft 10 wooden cats
at the clockmakers bench.
10. Head to a bank and take 40-50 nails and 4 planks. Take these
with the 6 crate parts, hammer and wolf whistle back to
Fenkenstrain in his castle. You'll see a white box next to him.
"build" this the "add-bottom" to it. Now use your 10 wooden cats
with the crate and blow your wolf whistle. A cut scene follows
and you receive a shipping order.
11. Use the shipping order with the crate and go to Harmony via
Moss Le'Harmless. Go down the ladder in the mill and talk to the
doctor. Exit the mill and go to the north edge of Harmony to the
Zombie ship.
12. Go to the west end of the ship and search the locker for a
fuse.
Next go up the ladder and take the tinderbox and a key next to
the cannons.
13. Head south of the ship to the monastery and use the key with
the door. Use the fuse with the door then light the fuse with
the tinderbox.
Now enter the monastery through this "door" and kill Scorebones
(57) for the following:
1 Cranial clamp
1 brain tongs
3 bell jars
30 skull staples
Take these items, along with your hammer back to the doctor in
the mill basement.
14. Talk to Brother Tranquility and go to Moss Le'Harmless. Use
the bank there to prepare for the final fight against a powerful
level 190 monster. During the fight you cannot use prayer so be
sure to bring good food and pots.
15. Go back to the monastery on Harmony and talk to Mi-Gor. Kill
the level 190 barrelchest monster and pick up the barrelchest
anchor it drops.
16. Talk to Brother Tranquility again in the mill and it's quest
complete!
Reward: Barrelchest anchor, blessed
lamp and prayer book, 6000 prayer XP, 2000 construction XP and
3000 crafting XP
QP reward: 2
Note: The lamp gives you 5000 XP in
a skill of your choice
Note: To repair and use the
barrelchest anchor you need to talk to "smith" on the dock on
Moss Le'Harmless (you will need the book of piracy to talk to
him though).
Note: The gas on Harmony has now
disappeared. Quest
