Hmm, lets see...I made an account to leave comments on a friends videos
(Xgen2004). I lolly-gagged for the longest time, only leaving comments on his
videos, then I started to venture off, viewing a few videos every once in
awhile. I saw tons of horrible videos, thinking, "WTF! That sucked!" then
finally decided to try one of my own videos. After uploading and watching my
first two videos, I thought, "Wtf! That sucked!" lol. So there I was, Hyperlag
cam, horrible first two videos and absolutely no motivation to make any more
videos ever. Then one day, I really wanted to make this Rob Zombie song into a
music video. I was determined to find an unlaggy cam. I searched for hours,
trying free trials of everything until a beam of golden poop colored light
shined down on this one site, calling to me, telling me to download it,
"Download me, download me, I love you!" So I downloaded it, tried it out, and
fell in cam-love. So yeah, I made my Rob Zombie video, got struck by the video
making bug and have been making videos ever since.

Q & A
1. How long have you been making Videos on Youtube?
A: My first video was submitted on August 19, 2006. It was
horrible because I used Hypercam and it gave me nothing but Hyperlag, so I put
off making videos until I stumbled across a lag free cam about 8 months later.
So basically I would say that I started getting really into video making around
April 21, 2007.
2. What was it that got you interested in video making in the first place?
A: Honestly? I saw alot of videos that were so boring,
unoriginal and poorly made. I knew I could rock Youtube one day because I put
meaning and thought into my videos, I just don't stand in one place through the
whole video like alot of people do, lol.
3. What Software do you mainly use to make your videos?
A: Zd Soft Screen Recorder and Windows Movie Maker. I do
have Sony Vegas but im Vegas retarded so I stick with what makes me comfortable.
4. Do you ever get the feeling that video making is really cutting into your
runescape playing time and if so what do you think about it?
A: No I don't, because I only make videos when I am bored
or when I feel really inspired. I make videos to entertain myself and friends,
not because people rush me to do them.
5. Runescape video making has changed a lot over the last year. What kind of
changes in Runescape video making do you expect to see in the next?
A: I don't expect much, but I feel a Vegas invasion coming
on. So prepare to see tons of people killing your eyesight with overwhelming
effects that are not needed. Little tip for you all; Dont go overboard with
effects, they dont make the video great, they just distract you so you can't see
how bad the video was lol. The storyline and thought that goes into the video
makes the video, not the effects.
6. If there was one thing you could have done differently over your Video making
career on youtube, What would that be?
A: Besides the fact that I wish I would of used my
Runescape name as my Youtube name, nothing lol. My friends and fans can look
back and see how much i've blossomed with each video. Blossomed like a
Bellsprout Pokemon!
7. Whats the longest amount of time you ever spent making one video.
A: Ahhhhahaha -cough- My Down With The Sickness video.
Roughly 17 hours or longer i'd say. It was brutal, but it turned out to be one
of the best, if not the BEST, Runescape music videos on Youtube. Yes, there is a
puddle of awesomeness that surrounds that video.
8. Getting your videos out there is very hard now with so many video makers on
Youtube. What kind of advice would you offer to new video makers who are
struggling to find exposure they deserve.
A: Don't subscribe to a person and tell them to subscribe
back because you subscribed to them. Don't spam the bulletins! That's one of the
most annoying things you could possibly do, you only need to hit the enter
button once ffs, if you didn't get your point across the first time, don't
bother trying again. Don't beg for subscribers, do what I do, let them come to
you, because afterall, you should be making videos for your own personal
enjoyment, not because you want subscribers. Quality equals quantity, not the
other way around. If you have 100 videos that are just poopy poop poop, you are
not gonna get subscribers. It's better to have 2 videos that are awesome and
original!
9. What other things are you interested in apart from Runescape and video
making?
A: Art, music, movies, clothing design and bothering
people with my awesome conversations lol.
10. What other MMO's do you play apart from Runescape?
A: I don't need to get addicted to anything else at the
moment, so nothing, lol.
